Kunle Omotayo Oderinu

Kunle was the first child of a family of eight with six children. Born on the 31st day of August, 1964. He was a proud old boy of Lagelu Grammar School Ibadan Oyo State, Nigeria (1976/1981 set). A graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Nigeria where he had both a BSc and an MSc in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (1987 & 1990 respectively). He also studied for an MBA at the Lagos Business School, (LBS) graduating in 1999. Kunle is a certified project Manager and an alumnus of Harvard Business School (OPM 44).
Kunle Oderinu was an experienced professional, with a distinguished track record and over 21 years management experience in the enterprise services industry. Kunle was a self-motivated and an excellent team player who compliments others to achieve corporate results. As a strategic thinker with strong service-delivery awareness, his strong qualities include excellent client relationship, operational and account management skills; integrity, decision making and the ability to drive results. Kunle was a resourceful engineer with a clear understanding of technology and business issues to optimize operations, reduce costs and improve service quality.


Kunle was an Executive Director of CBC-emea Limited and Managing Director of CBC Energy – a subsidiary company of CBC-emea group until 2018 when he retired from the company.
While at CBC-emea group he was the lead project manager of the (CBC) team that designed, deployed and supported the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Project Eagle core ICT infrastructure in 2005 and its subsequent refresh in 2012. The core ICT infrastructure runs the national treasury and enables the oversight functions of the CBN over the money deposit banks and other financial institutions under its control
He was happily married to Dr. Olabisi H. Oderinu, a specialist in Restorative Dentistry who is Senior Lecturer at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Nigeria and a Consultant at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Lagos Nigeria. Their union is blessed with four children.
Kunle was the CEO of KOBY Global Engineering Services Ltd until his death on the 31st January, 2020.
